In a recent article published by AdNews, we suggest that it makes more sense to spread a client's budget around by lighting a series of small spotfires. Once you see an idea starting to flame then you can start to scale it up and increase its value. We also suggest that utilities and platforms are the new campaigns. Congratulations to the teams at WeAreDigital and Telstra Media for winning the Best Sport category at the 2010 AIMIA awards for the Carlton Natural Blonde Match Centre application.
We have designed, developed and continually improved this application over the last four years and its great to see everyone involved get recognised by the industry for what is a best of breed sports application.

Following on from our presentation at the AIMIA Digital Summit on Internet Retailing in October , The Age and SMH ran a feature article covering our partnership with, and the success of The Witchery Holdings Group internet retailing businesses.
We were able to share valuable learnings and insights from our work with the Witchery Group in terms of what it takes to make a successful online retail business and client/agency partnership.

WeAreDigital has been appointed as Tropfest's official digital partner to develop and manage the Tropfest online network and digital marketing program.
We have just re-launched Tropfest's website in time with the call for entries for 2010 - which is now officially open!!
Check out www.tropfest.com/au for 2010 Entry Guidelines, release forms and other helpful filmmaker guides.
There are just a few other small guidelines you must follow when entering your short film:
* Your film must be made specifically for Movie Extra Tropfest 2010
* Movie Extra Tropfest 2010 must be it’s first public screening
* Your film must be no longer than 7 minutes (including title and end credits)
* It must contain the 2010 Tropfest Signature Item (TSI) DICE.
Entries close Thursday 7 January 2010 at 6pm!

What a way to top of the season!! A classic grand final and increased numbers of fans tuning in on a weekly basis to the Carlton Natural Blonde MATCH CENTRE application designed and developed for BigPond and the AFL by WeAreDigital.
The application tracked all the action throughout the 2009 AFL season - every game, every kick, every bump, every goal, straight to a users desktop.
